HudHud services are operated by HudHud Digital Technology Company, a limited liability company registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under Commercial Registration No. (1010916357), dated 15/02/1445H.

The company offers advanced technology solutions in the field of smart navigation and routing through the “HudHud” app, which is intended for individuals over the age of 18.

2.2 No data is processed unless it directly relates to a core function of the app. Unnecessary or unrelated data is not used or stored.

3.1 Depending on your usage, we may process the following types of data:

  • (a) Usage data: app settings, saved places, and in-app interactions (see Article 5.1)

  • (b) Location data: your location when enabling geolocation or navigation tracking (see Article 6.1)

3.2 Data is only collected when required for a feature or with your explicit permission.
3.3 We commit to not collecting information that is not connected to an active feature, in line with the principle of data minimization.

Article 4: Purposes of Processing

4.1 Data is processed to activate the following features:

  • Improved in-app navigation and map experience

  • Saving frequent or favorite places

  • Displaying smart personalized suggestions

  • Analyzing usage behavior to improve performance (see Article 7.2)

4.2 Your data is not used for any commercial, promotional, or third-party marketing purposes.
4.3 Data is only processed for the specific purposes outlined and will not be used beyond this scope without prior notice (see Article 12.2).

Article 5: Legal Basis and Enablement

5.1 Data processing is based on one or more of the following legal bases:

  • Direct user request (e.g., enabling location features)

  • Functional use that requires contextual awareness (e.g., nearby results)

5.2 Use of certain features such as saved places or sending reports is considered implicit consent.

  • Receiving in-app notifications

6.3 Disabling certain features may partially affect your ability to use specific app functions but will not block general access to the app.

7.1 We use non-personal, aggregated usage data to analyze and improve user experience.
7.2 Analysis includes:

  • Performance of user interfaces

  • Interaction with map elements

  • Time spent navigating different sections of the app

8.1 Your data is stored in secure, certified data centers located within the Kingdom or other compliant regions.
